Insulated Soup Pot Cart

Before
After

Constant evolution. We’ve spent over seven decades perfecting every aspect of utility carts. From standard units, to modified or custom, simply put, it’s been an endless pursuit for perfection.

Here’s a special project out of Texas for a cart modification on the Lakeside 543 Stainless Steel Utility Cart for a non-profit meal delivery program.

PROJECT NAME
Insulated Soup Pot Cart

BACKSTORY

A non-profit meal delivery program in Dallas, TX approached our local rep looking for help for a newly launched program. The program was experiencing quality issues with carts they designed and purchased through another manufacturer. It needed a product that could hold up to the weight capacity, daily usage, and distance traveled to serve large volumes of bulk food.

Because the carts were going to be in direct contact with food, NSF was also a requirement. Our rep was familiar with our heavy-duty utility cart family and knew we offered NSF as a standard version as well; he approached us with the idea of building from our standard model 543 based on the weight capacity required and the size parameters the non-profit requested.
